LeadTruffle for Home Services
LeadTruffle brings leads from calls, websites, marketplaces, ads, SMS, and email into one response and booking workflow. This guide explains where that breadth helps, what to test, and which commercial and data terms to settle before signing.

Where LeadTruffle fits
Speed-to-lead is a revenue problem disguised as an inbox problem. A homeowner who submits a Google LSA request, sends a Thumbtack inquiry, or calls after hours is often contacting more than one contractor. If the first response comes late, asks irrelevant questions, or cannot offer a workable next step, the marketing spend has already lost much of its value.
LeadTruffle is built to close that gap for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, cleaning, moving, and other local-service businesses. It brings lead capture, a shared inbox, AI qualification, scheduling, phone answering, follow-up, and a workflow board into one response process. Multi-location, franchise, and agency options extend that model to teams that need different rules and views across brands or territories.
The thesis is straightforward: LeadTruffle is a compelling fit when the largest leak happens between a lead arriving and the office deciding what to do with it. Its breadth is the advantage. An LSA lead, missed call, Thumbtack inquiry, and website visitor can each receive a prompt built for that source, while the team gets a more consistent route to qualification and booking. A contractor relying on several paid and owned channels can gain more from that orchestration than a business looking only for basic phone overflow.
That value still rests on the quality of the operating rules underneath it. Service areas, job types, pricing language, available capacity, emergency definitions, transfer destinations, and disqualification conditions must match the way the company actually runs. Evaluate LeadTruffle with the sources and exceptions that cost you money today, not one clean test call.
How intake, qualification, and booking work
LeadTruffle can receive inquiries from phone calls, a website texting widget, SMS, email, Google Business Profile, Google LSA, Google Ads lead forms, Facebook lead ads, Instagram direct messages routed through Facebook, Yelp, Thumbtack, Angi, webhooks, and an API. Once a lead arrives, the source-specific prompt and business rules determine which questions the AI asks and which action comes next.
Those rules can account for service type, geography, urgency, availability, pricing, and reasons to disqualify a request. A contractor can allow an exact price, provide a range, withhold pricing, or offer a quote appointment. This is where LeadTruffle's responsiveness becomes useful rather than merely fast: the customer gets a relevant next step, while the office avoids spending the same time manually sorting every inquiry.
Qualified leads can become assessments, estimates, or jobs in connected calendars and CRMs. The ServiceTitan connection can book on the dispatch board. That creates a credible path from first response to scheduled work, but the live test should use your job types, zones, capacity, custom fields, and cancellation rules. If a preferred slot disappears before confirmation, the customer should receive a sensible alternative and the office should see a clear outcome—not a silent failure or duplicate record.
| Revenue moment | Run this test | A successful outcome |
|---|---|---|
| Paid marketplace lead | Submit an unsupported job, then a valid urgent request. | The first is dispositioned correctly; the second receives a source-appropriate response, qualifies, and advances without duplicate replies. |
| After-hours missed call | Disconnect before voicemail, then reply to the automated text from the same number. | The conversation retains context and gives the customer and office a clear next action. |
| Emergency transfer | Trigger an emergency rule while the primary destination does not answer. | The caller receives the agreed fallback experience and the on-call team receives the right details immediately. |
| CRM booking | Book, reschedule, and cancel while another user changes capacity. | Availability remains accurate and the final record lands in the expected system, status, and fields. |
The test is successful only when the operational record matches the customer conversation. Measure response time, qualified-lead rate, booking accuracy, duplicate work, staff intervention, and completed-job conversion by source. A quick reply is valuable; a quick reply that reliably reaches a bookable outcome is the real prize.
Channels, integrations, and operating controls
Phone workflows extend the same speed-to-lead promise to callers. Calls forward to a private LeadTruffle number through full or conditional forwarding. The AI uses the chosen greeting and voice, gathers intake details, and can send a tailored follow-up text after the call. Up to five transfer rules can each define a condition, destination, and transfer message, while a fallback number covers AI unavailability. Emergency language can trigger a priority flag, immediate notification, or direct transfer to an on-call team.
That is a meaningful home-services workflow, especially for teams that lose after-hours demand. Test it under pressure: no-answer transfers, repeat customers, changed service addresses, urgent requests outside the service area, and a fallback destination that is also unavailable. The caller experience, office alert, transcript, and final disposition should stay coherent through every branch.
LeadTruffle also supports voice, SMS, and email responses, missed-call text-back, and marketplace follow-up. Cold texting is not supported; messaging must be opt-in. The terms mention outbound click-to-call, and the platform can run outbound SMS and email workflows. If outbound voice campaigns are part of the business case, require a demonstration of dialing, consent, suppression, volume, and reporting controls before including that capability in the rollout.
The integration catalog includes ServiceTitan, Jobber, Housecall Pro, Workiz, JobNimbus, HubSpot, SmartMoving, Pipedrive, MaidCentral, ServiceMonster, ServiceMinder, Leap, Builder Prime, and other systems. LeadTruffle also lists CallRail, Google Business, Google Analytics, Facebook Leads, Meta Pixel, Zapier, webhooks, and a public API. The API accepts lead submissions and event data, and the documentation recommends V2 webhooks for new integrations.
The business benefit appears when those connections preserve momentum. For each system, map what LeadTruffle reads and writes, which plan includes the connector, how quickly status changes return, and what happens after a retry, duplicate, or partial failure. Tags, forms, events, custom fields, conversation history, and workflow status are useful only when the right details reach the people and systems responsible for the next action.
Rollout, support, and commercial terms
LeadTruffle starts onboarding with the company's website, service details, pricing, and sales process. Every customer receives an onboarding call and a shared setup checklist, and the LeadTruffle team handles technical setup with or for the customer. That hands-on approach matters: named customer testimonials highlight responsive setup and early conversions, giving LeadTruffle legitimate credit for helping teams get from configuration to live opportunity recovery.
The contractor still owns the business decisions. Before setup begins, prepare service-area boundaries, disqualifiers, job types, price language, office hours, transfer owners, and exception paths. For multiple locations, decide which prompts and knowledge belong to each branch, who can change them, and which leaders need regional or portfolio reporting.
Support rises with plan level. Essential includes email support; Growth and Scale include priority support; Enterprise adds a dedicated account manager and SLA. Training and ongoing operating guidance are included with onboarding. Match the support tier to the consequence of an outage or broken workflow, then put response targets, implementation ownership, launch gates, and post-launch tuning into the agreement.
Dollar pricing is not published. Plans are sized around fit, lead volume, onboarding needs, and managed support: Essential includes 150 leads per month, Growth 300, Scale 500, and Enterprise a custom limit. A 150% grace buffer applies. At the cutoff, identity data continues to be logged while automated SMS and email replies pause. Model a peak month and ask exactly how new and active phone, message, marketplace, and booking workflows behave at both the base limit and the cutoff.
The FAQ describes month-to-month plans that can be upgraded or cancelled at any time. The terms describe non-refundable onboarding, implementation, setup, and activation fees, and reference overage billing under older Basic, Pro, and Expert plan names. The order form should reconcile those names and state the monthly price, included usage, setup costs, overage rules, cutoff behavior, refunds, cancellation timing, connector access, and support level in one place.
Customer testimonials about missed-lead follow-up, responsive implementation, and early conversions are encouraging proof of fit, but they are not a forecast for a new contractor. Build the financial case from your own source mix: leads received, median response time, qualification, valid bookings, completed jobs, and the staff time required to correct or finish a conversation.
Security and privacy due diligence
LeadTruffle uses TLS encryption in transit. Its privacy policy also describes encryption in transit and at rest, limited access, and regular audits for voicemail data, but it does not identify an external security certification. Stripe handles card data. Google Calendar access is limited to free/busy information rather than event titles, descriptions, attendees, or locations.
Voice retention needs to be settled in writing. The April 2026 terms and July 2026 privacy policy state that inbound AI calls are recorded and transcribed, with identifiable audio and transcripts generally retained for 24 months unless law requires longer. The FAQ says voice interactions are logged and transcribed but are not kept as recorded audio clips. Ask which rule controls your account, whether retention can be shortened, when backups are deleted, and how recordings and transcripts can be exported or removed.
The privacy policy allows de-identified or aggregated transcripts to be kept indefinitely for model improvement and analytics, with an account-setting opt-out for business users. It treats the contractor as controller and LeadTruffle as processor or service provider for end-user content. Before launch, establish AI and recording notices, consent handling, messaging opt-outs, data-request procedures, and the requirements that apply in the states and markets you serve.
Request written answers on SSO, role-based access, audit logs, subprocessors, incident notification, data residency, configurable retention, and any controls required by your customers or industry. Security review should end with terms that match the data the workflow will actually collect.
Strengths, tradeoffs, and real-world fit
LeadTruffle's strongest benefit is coordinated responsiveness across sources. A business buying leads from marketplaces, running paid forms, receiving website messages, and missing calls can give each inquiry a relevant path without asking the office to monitor every source continuously. Source-level prompts, workflow status, attribution events, and CRM handoff can turn fragmented acquisition into a repeatable first-response operation.
That makes the fit especially strong in three situations:
- A two-location HVAC company can qualify LSA leads, web forms, and after-hours calls differently, route emergencies by location, and measure outcomes by source. Its proof points are correct capacity, branch permissions, and reliable fallback behavior.
- A remodeling contractor can use fast text qualification for Thumbtack and website estimate requests, reveal or withhold pricing according to policy, and move suitable leads into estimate booking without making advanced phone features the center of the purchase.
- A plumbing group can combine AI phone intake, emergency routing, dispatch-board booking, and follow-up. Its decision should turn on ServiceTitan writeback, live escalation, and the quality of difficult calls—not the size of the connector catalog.
The tradeoff is the operating work created by breadth. Booking accuracy depends on connector depth and current availability. Escalation depends on forwarding, transfer, and fallback rules. Messaging depends on consent and channel policy. Cost depends on lead counting and limits whose dollar prices are not public. A team willing to maintain those rules can get real value from LeadTruffle's broad intake and fast response; a team without clear ownership will struggle to turn coverage into consistent booked work.
Questions to take into the demo
Bring a sample week of leads, calls, bookings, and exceptions. The answers should appear in a live workflow or in the order form when they affect scope.
- Which phone, SMS, email, marketplace, and CRM actions count toward each plan limit?
- What happens to new and active conversations at the base limit and at the 150% cutoff?
- Which objects can our connector read and write, and how are retries, duplicates, and failures surfaced?
- Can you complete our booking, reschedule, cancellation, capacity-change, and emergency-transfer scenarios?
- How many voice calls can run at once, which languages and countries are supported, and what forwarding constraints apply?
- What happens after a failed transfer, and can we set more than five conditional destinations?
- Is outbound voice limited to click-to-call, or can it run approved campaigns with dialing, consent, and suppression controls?
- Which plan includes our integrations, priority support, an SLA, and a named implementation owner?
- What are the final monthly, onboarding, usage, overage, cutoff, and cancellation terms?
- Are call recordings retained, for how long, and can we configure deletion and opt out of secondary transcript use?
- Which security controls, access roles, audit records, subprocessors, and incident commitments apply to our account?
- What response, qualification, valid-booking, completed-job, and staff-intervention measures will define success?
Where Broccoli fits relative to LeadTruffle
Broccoli is an all-in-one lead-management platform built for trades and home services. It connects inbound and outbound voice and SMS, website chat, speed-to-lead, qualification, booking and dispatch, persistent follow-up, QA and coaching, and multi-location reporting. That gives an operator one continuous view from the moment demand arrives through the booked job and the performance work that improves the next conversion.
That lifecycle is the decisive advantage in this comparison. LeadTruffle is genuinely compelling when the urgent need is fast, source-specific response across marketplaces, forms, messages, email, and missed calls. Broccoli is the clear choice when the brief is larger: run the entire lead-to-booked-job operation, recover opportunities through outbound follow-up, inspect every conversation through QA, coach the human and AI front office, and compare results across locations in one trades-specific performance layer.
Evaluate that difference with a full revenue path, not an isolated answer. Start with a new phone or digital lead, apply your qualification and capacity rules, book or dispatch the right work, trigger the required follow-up, and then inspect the conversation, outcome, coaching signal, and location report. The buying decision
Choose LeadTruffle when delayed response across paid lead sources, web inquiries, marketplaces, email, SMS, and missed calls is the primary leak. Its broad intake, source-specific qualification, booking, and hands-on setup make it a credible home-services choice—provided the connector, transfer, usage, and retention details hold up under your real operating conditions.
Choose Broccoli when the goal is bigger than first response: one trades-specific lead operation spanning inbound and outbound voice and SMS, website chat, speed-to-lead, qualification, booking and dispatch, follow-up, QA and coaching, and multi-location reporting. For a team that wants both day-to-day conversion execution and the ongoing performance layer in one platform, Broccoli is the clearer and more complete choice.
